Paypal 2.0 for zen cart

snarkys:

anyone seen this site before ?

http://www.onlinemerchantnetwork.com/inform/forums

might be a good place to ask them questions

I'd also recommend https://www.webhostingtalk.com for merchant and hosting provider discussions.

Check AND Mate! :)

$60/mo for me to get a canned email response that has nothing to do with the question I asked is a bit steep. Not to mention all the Bullsh!t rules paypal generalizes so somethings that look similar to illegal activity but aren't get lumped into their TOS. for $60/mo I can't believe they have the audacity to charge a transaction fee as well. They should have a personal banker included for that price who runs to the bank for you and deposits the money himself.

I'll have to check out this skipjack, but I also recently switched (about a year ago) from payquake to merchantlogic and i've never been happier. On Average I save about $190/mo more than I did with payquake and I sure as hell don't pay $60/mo! Payquake is good if you have very slow sales because there is no monthly fee, just a higher transaction discount rate. If you have a lot of sales, get a merchant with a monthly rate but a lower transaction discount. With merchantlogic, I pay $17/mo ($10 for gateway, $7 for merchant) with half of the payquake rate. I have a lot of sales so I was paying out the crack for each sale.

-$17 > -$60

i believe it is $20 a month

while they are certainly not anyone's ideal company to deal with , there are advantages if part of your business is forced to take paypal anyways.

I believe they are marketing it different and only charging $20

I think what you are looking for is called paypal 2.0 which is a payflow gateway hooked up with verisign. look a couple pages back , there is a guy who was successful hooking it up and listed the charges.

this was on page ten, cost wise you can't really bash them , plently of other stuff you can though.

Merlinpa1969:

Ok another 2 hours on the phone with paypal,

I have to apologize to Robert,

it seems that as usual paypal has NO freakin clue what the left and right hands are doing.

I was talking to the PAYPAL sales team earlier,
the information I listed earlier is what paypal is offering

this phonecall got me through to the verisign sales team.

they are offering paypal pro w/ payflow

it is the payflow gateway piggybacking on paypal pro.

it is $20 a month flat rate. no extra fees... however ONLY the verisign team can authorize it....

OK now that that is out in the open we need to figure out why in the world the pfp module is voiding on a freakin email address that it shouldnt be asking for.

once again Robert I apologize...

<< Shakes fist at and kisks dirt at the dumb SOBS at paypal, left and right need to get their crap together

Re: Paypal 2.0 for zen cart

well i think it's really a beta product and there isn't any real info to be found online. whats true today might not be true when it goes public . i just wish they would figure out how to exchange the ship information.

Re: Paypal 2.0 for zen cart

well i really have been enjoying paypals "MultiOrder shipping". i wish they would get their crap together and have the shipping info transferred with the payment on this new service . could turn my daily hour and a half shipping process into 20 minutes I'm sure .

the click and ship mod works great but you can't use first class mail like you can on paypal . if i used it on all my packages it would cost me an extra $30 a day ....

Yea, getyourgameshere and I have been trying to integrate a similar button to use Paypals click-n-ship that offers firstclass and media mail. So far only parts of it seem to work and its baffling as to why other parts do not. Its like Paypal clears parts of their form on page load. We are still trying to get it working and hope that we can so it can be used for those other shipping methods.

Re: Paypal 2.0 for zen cart

replicapropscom , did they ever figure out the transmission of the shipping data ? if not I think i'm going to call this guy and see if i can get a time table on that issue.

The new PayPal MultiOrder Shipping has made shipping 30-50 orders so ridiculously easy. it can be done in 5 minutes now rather than the hour or so i was spending.

to be honest , if paypal 2.0 transmitted the shipping data i would turn off CSI today and just pay them the minimum amount till my contract was up . Right now my time is worth more than my money and the hour a day i would save by doing that would be well worth the $50-60 a month lost.

I know everyone here hates paypal for various reasons but for many of us this will be a really slick solution for both accepting payments by only one company and extremely fast, free and easy shipping tool at the same time.

Re: Paypal 2.0 for zen cart

I posted this on it's own thread hoping it would get a better response but I haven't gotten one yet so I decided to post here also.

I have installed the Payflow Module and configured it after getting my account set up through PayPal and I get the folowing error after Step 3 in the checkout process:

Warning: strstr() [function.strstr]: Empty delimiter. in /home/oneofak1/public_html/shop/includes/modules/payment/payflowpro.php on line 337

Warning: strstr() [function.strstr]: Empty delimiter. in /home/oneofak1/public_html/shop/includes/modules/payment/payflowpro.php on line 337

Re: Paypal 2.0 for zen cart

Is there a module for PayPal Website Payments Pro and if so, which one is it?

While I am certain this has been answered with regards to PayPal Website Payments Pro - I am confused as to what the answer is.

People are using some rather confusing PayPal Product Name such as PayPal 2.0. I have attached a gif of PayPal products and there is no such 2.0 product.

And with respect to the PayFlow Pro - PayPal/Verisign module - I see this in Admin:

'(NOTE: Module binaries not executable or lib path not found)'

Thanks for any clarification to those points.

Re: Paypal 2.0 for zen cart

so a search on the pro , zen cart does not support express check out at this time and pro requires it .

the reason 2.0 isn't visible is because it is still in the beta stages and only available to the people who call up and directly request it from someone who actually knows what you are talking about.

Re: Paypal 2.0 for zen cart

I just downloaded this the day before yesterday and I redownloaded the module today and uploaded again. I deleted 10 times at the end of the file like you suggested and I still get that same exact error on confirming the order. Is there somewhere that there is a newer file that I missed?

Thanks again for trying to help me. I really appreciate it :)
