Display price with VAT/TAX and Ex VAT/TAX

Hi,
I have installed this mod on my v1.3.8 cart it works fine when not logged in, the display shows includex & excluded prices, but when the customer logs in both prices are the pre-vat prices (lower price), I have checked through the previous posts with no luck, I have tried installing the Rescue Pak1.3.8 again the same???

Please can someone advise as I am almost ready to go live.

I have sorted this one, it was down to the Basis of Product Tax being set to Store Location and not Shipping

is there any way to be able to display prices with either vat or without on a button like dabs.com do under their home button, so its user selectable? as i struggle for space with the template layout we use

This version has a sidebox which allows the customer to toggle between the Included and Excluded prices (like dabs.com or memoryc.com). Note: It has been tested but it is still in beta so it's only available from the above link right now.

My website is now in dutch but also will be in english and german somewhere this year.

When i add the custom

I adjusted the text in the includes\languages\english\extra_definitions\custom\IncExTaxMod_defines.php

to
includes\languages\dutch\extra_definitions\custom\IncExTaxMod_defines.php

It doesnt take the dutch language.

Can you tell me why and what i can do to get this to work?

Offhand I think you have to put it in the "dutch" folder.

Ah, after installing the mod, running the sql, the sidebox isn't showing up in the layout box controller??

I adapted the blank sidebox mod to display the sidebox for this and it displays now, and works correctly.

Except the shopping cart page shows the subtotal as $0.00 inc gst when I toggle to show prices including.

I have the setting in the admin configuration set to Display Prices with Tax to "false".

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Display Prices with Tax: false
Display Prices with Tax in Admin: true

When toggling exc gst price, all the prices are showing correctly. When toggling INC gst price, the price shows correctly in everything, except the shopping cart page, and I've just noticed, the shopping cart sidebox.

This version fixes a couple of the glitches that had the price displaying wrongly in the shopping cart.

Firstly thank you for all the effort put into this mod - it looks fab and perfect for what I have been looking for!

When I try and install the mod, however, my site bombs to blank page with this error:

[03-Apr-2009 10:22:13] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare zen_get_products_display_price() (previously declared in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/shop.informal-it.co.uk/httpdocs/shop/includes/functions/functions_prices.php:156) in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/shop.informal-it.co.uk/httpdocs/shop/includes/functions/extra_functions/inc_ex_functions.php on line 13

So, I dutifully commented out lines 256=>294 from includes/functions/functions_prices.php and now the site comes up, but only INC VAT pricing works, if I choose Both, Ex VAT pricing is not displayed...

The only thing Is I am running SitewideMarkup - but this doesn't install includes/functions/functions_prices.php - therefore I am stuck and worried about how to cirrectly install this mod.
